The goal of the project is to protect urban trees in Lagodekhi from destruction, cutting, and felling, and to raise awareness among citizens about the importance of these trees. The project involves creating short video stories about 30 urban trees, digitizing these trees and placing them on Google Maps with descriptions and histories, holding public meetings about urban trees, and creating Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook channels to share the video stories. The project also includes training for young people on plants and Google services, and a lecture on urban biodiversity and urban trees. The project involves collaboration with the Lagodekhi Protected Areas Administration, Giorgi Edisherashvili Youth Worker, Lagodekhi Municipality City Hall and City Council, Association of Friends of Lagodekhi Protected Areas, and the Tourism Information Center of Lagodekhi Municipality. A contest for the best video story about an urban tree will also be held.
