The goal of this project is to increase awareness about various diseases, including AIDS, diabetes, lung cancer, tuberculosis, and venereal diseases, in the Samtskhe-Javakheti region. To achieve this goal, students will conduct research to understand the current level of knowledge about these diseases in the community, and based on the results, will prepare training materials and resources, such as booklets, comics, posters, videos, and a mini-play, to educate school students and the wider community. The team will also hold meetings with local healthcare professionals and representatives from the National Center for Disease Control to discuss prevention and treatment options. Additionally, the project will involve the participation of several other organizations, including the Evex Clinic, the Hera-21 Association, and the local self-government, in order to ensure the success and wide dissemination of information about these important health issues.
