The main objective of this project is to raise awareness among students about the important role of women in various fileds and to combat negative stereotypes. To achieve this goal, the project team will conduct a survey in the Telavi and Jokolo communities and prepare a presentation on the issues identified. The project will also include a meeting with the ombudsman, a representative from the Women's Room, and a representative from the Kakheti Regional Development Center. In addition to this, the project will include film screenings and discussions, as well as a discussion of Georgian laws on gender equality. Students will also have the opportunity to learn how to create digital posters and slogans using Canva and participate in a slogan competition. The project will involve the Jokolo school as a partner and will include an informative meeting for peer-educators at the Pankisi Gorge-Jokolo public school. Students will also create themed postcards about the role of women in various fields and breaking stereotypes and will send these postcards to the Jokolo public school. The project will culminate in a final event for the school community, where a summary presentation will be given. The project will also involve other organizations such as the Telavi Gender Council, the Women's Room, the Ombudsman representative in Kakheti, and the "Voice of Kakheti."
